Sustainable use of Soil Water Resources and Agriculture High-quality Development in Water-limited Regions.

Abstract

As population increases and economy develops, there is an increasing demand for quantity agriculture products and services. To meet these kinds of demands, most of the original vegetation had become farmland, plantation or grass land. As plant grows, the plant water relationship had changed to non-equilibrium relationship, led to soil drought, soil degradation, vegetation degradation and crop failure or waste of soil water, which is not good for Sustainable utilization of soil water resources and agriculture high-quality development. After a couple of yeas research, the result showed that plant water relationship must be regulated based on Soil Water Vegetation Carrying Capacity in the critical period of plant water relationship regulation to get the quality and maximum yield and benefit to carry out Sustainable utilization of soil water resources and agriculture high-quality development.
